Lifetime Achievement Award
The WSSPC Lifetime Achievement Award is given to recognize outstanding leaders in earthquake risk reduction who are still practicing their profession. The recipient will have demonstrated throughout his or her career an extraordinary commitment, level of service, and contribution to the application of earthquake risk reduction to public policy.
To make a nomination, provide the WSSPC office with a one-page summary of the person's important accomplishments of the application of earthquake risk reduction to public policy, a photo, and a 2 letters of recommendation with full contact information of both the nominators and nominee.
The WSSPC Board will make a decision and the award will be given at the next annual meeting.
Leadership Award
2011 Leadership Award Already Fulfilled
The WSSPC Leadership Award is given to individuals within the WSSPC membership who have demonstrated sustained leadership benefitting the WSSPC community.
To make a nomination, provide the WSSPC office with a letter of recommendation from 2 different states, with full contact information of both the nominators and nominee.
The WSSPC Board will make a decision and the award will be given at the next annual meeting.
