CANCELLATIONS: Written cancellations received between May 8 and June 1, 1998 shall be subject to a 75% service charge. No refunds will be made for cancellations after June 1, 1998.

PRINTING DEADLINE: Applications must be received by June 1, 1998 in order to guarantee inclusion in the conference program.

1998 WSSPC Exhibit Agreement

In reserving exhibit space for our organization, I understand that WSSPC reserves the right to make all booth assignments, but will do so as equitably as possible.

SELECTION OF SPACE: Exhibitors will be allocated space as available. However, WSSPC will follow the general rule of first-come, first served. Whenever possible, space will be assigned pursuant to the wishes of the exhibitor. No exhibitor may assign or sublet the whole or any part of the allotted space. The WSSPC program manager will make final allocation of exhibit space. WSSPC also reserves the right to relocate or rearrange the floor plan.

EXHIBIT SPACE AND DECORATION: All booths will be installed with one 6' x 2’ table and two chairs.

LIABILITY: All exhibitors will insure themselves, at their own expense, against property loss or damage and against liability for personal injury. It is agreed that WSSPC and/or DoubleTree Hotel will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur to the exhibitor, exhibitor's employees, or the exhibitor's property, from any cause whatsoever, prior to, during, or subsequent to the period covered by this agreement. WSSPC will not provide security during the hours the exhibits are not open. Exhibitors are responsible for the contents of their exhibit booth(s). WSSPC retains the option of securing the contents of unmanned booths for precautionary purposes. It is the entire responsibility of the exhibitor to protect, indemnify, defend and save WSSPC, the DoubleTree Hotel, and all related parties from all damages and claims resulting from the use of the exhibition premises except where the claim results from the gross negligence of WSSPC, DoubleTree Hotel, and all related parties.

DAMAGE: No signs or articles may be affixed, nailed or otherwise attached to walls, doors, or other hotel property. No attachments may be made to the floor by nails, screws, or any other devices that would cause damage. All space is leased subject to these restrictions. Violations could result in voiding this contract.

EXHIBIT SALES: WSSPC does not encourage or discourage the sale of goods and services during the exhibition. Exhibitors who conduct sales during the exhibition are solely responsible for the applicable state sales taxes. WSSPC has no legal or binding obligations or responsibility to the host state. (The state's tax/revenue department may be contacted for-written guidelines/rules regarding such transactions.)
