The Loos & Co., Inc. Manual of Code Compliance Guidelines was initially published in 1993 and has been updated to include currently used codes and standards. The manual contains easy to use summaries & tables of seismic sway bracing requirements which have been condensed by the authors into as few as 2 pages for each different edition of all of the Model Codes & Standards utilized throughout the United States and most of the world, including New Requirements and NEHRP Standards.

For example, it includes Model Building Codes - BOCA National Building Code, ICBO Uniform Building Code, SBCCI Standard Building Code, the IBC International Building Code, the NEHRP (FEMA) Standard and ASCE-7. California Building Code & Title 24 of CCR (OSHPD Code) - special requirements for State owned/leased facilities, hospitals, schools, Tri-Services/Tri-Star Manuals, NFPA-13 Automatic Sprinkler Systems, and similar occupancies are also included.

The Manual contains documented information on fastener values, spacing of braces and other specialized design and installation concerns plus various details, illustrations and specifications to assist in cost effectively perfecting the design, approval and installation process for Codes, Standards and Project Specifications. It is accompanied by a 24" x 36" Color Coded Seismic Map.
